A nonsensical last ditch effort to give Mike Mignola's monster hunting anti-hero an adventure worth telling to no avail. I liked the emphasis on the horror elements, but "The Crooked Man" is a made-for-TV quality blockbuster with the acting, special effects, and production value of an episode of "Supernatural."
