It's not badly acted and certainly not badly made. The movie looks gorgeous. I just miss it when movies even if they were comedies were nice to look at. Rock Hudson and Doris Day both do what's expected. They don't like each other but then through a series of misunderstandings and contrivances, they fall in love.

If you love fifties glamour and old school romantic comedies, you'll proibably love this. I am far too cynical for this kind of thing however.

One of my very favorite Doris Day movies and a real Classic. It is a definite must see for lovers of old movies. Its also a classic romantic comedy. One that has been copied many many times, but never really duplicated. I highly recommend it!
