Whoever thought Billy Crystal ought to play an action hero is crazy. But whoever thought to pair him with Gregory Hines is a genius. Their comedic chemistry really elevates a pretty routine cop movie. Think the first 'Lethal Weapon' movie except less suicidal. Aside from the two leads, there are some surprisingly good action scenes. Especially a car chase through the Chicago subway.
