Plot: Secretary Tess McGill has struggled to be taken seriously and given the opportunity to move up in the financial world. Realizing that no one is going to give her a leg up, she decides to create the opportunity herself while her condescending, self-centered boss, Katherine, is out of the office with a broken leg. Moving into Katherine's office, home and wardrobe, Tess puts together a deal. Can she close the deal and make herself a place in the financial world before Katherine catches on and blows her cover? -- serioussir

Although I'm not a Melanie Griffith fan, in this movie she's charming as Tess McGill, the secretary with big dreams. Sigourney Weaver is fantastic as the rich, spoiled, self-absorbed, conniving business woman. You will love to hate her. Alec Baldwin's perfect as the cheating, jerky boyfriend. Joan Cusack is hysterical as the unreserved, irreverent best friend. A great underdog comes out on top comedy. Also great 80s big hair and clothes.
