Plot: A prolific hitman works for a company where mandatory retirement happens when you turn 50. With just 15 days to go - and $8 million to collect - Duncan Vizla, the man known as "The Black Kaiser" settles into a small Montana town. But it turns out the company he works for is barely afloat and owner Blut has a plan - to knock off all the aged assassin's - whose assets are then given back to the company. Polar is like John Wick on club drugs - just as violent but also knows how to have fun. The always-game Mads Mikkelsen steals the show as our blunt anti-hero with Matt Lucas in a hilarious, cartoonish villain role. Nudity, blood a few twists - while it doesn't redefine the genre, it is an entertaining spectacle.
