Some fun body horror, lots of spectacular visual effects and a decent updated Lovecraft adaptation. Nicolas Cage gets a bit too offbeat towards the end but he's otherwise surprisingly good in the role. So, if any of that interests you, you're in for a treat.

I was really into this movie at first, but somewhere around the middle it all started to bend and break down. The acting became very inconsistent and situations became unintentionally funny. As a result, "Color Out of Space" comes within mere inches of being the great art-house B-movie it wants so desperately to be.
