While it doesn't rewrite the zombie genre by any means, Apocalypse Z is still entertaining with plenty of tense moments and even some humor thrown in the mix. I'm still not a fan of the fast-moving zombies but it does make the stakes higher. And, of course, you have to throw in a nice little twist at the end. For those who haven't given up on the genre, it's a nice little bite for a change.
