A film that is both chilling yet gripping. Juliette Gariépy plays Kelly-Anne, a model and tech wizard who is highly invested in the trial of alleged serial killer Ludovic Chevalier (Maxwell McCabe-Lokos). She also becomes attached to Clementine (Laurie Babin), who is enthralled by Chevalier far past the point of devotion into near madness. But the crux of the film is Kelly-Anne's fascination with the final victim, a 13-year-old girl, her family and a supposed dark web tape of her gruesome murder. Nothing is shown, but you can hear certain parts of the other victims - also teen girls - and it's enough to turn your stomach - unlike our protagonist who shows no emotion when discussing or viewing the material. While the end may seem to somewhat redeem the main character, it's also obvious …
