Plot: In the early days of YouTube, The Paranormal Paranoids became an early success story, as a group of four investigated haunted locales. But when they decide to investigate the abandoned town of Shelby Oaks, three wind up dead and one member, Riley, goes missing with a final video the only evidence. Years later, Riley's sister, Mia, is determined to find out what happened to her sister - but when a stranger turns up on her door step only to shoot himself, it leads to unnerving revelations that go back to her childhood and a dark presence that has followed ever since. -- Chris Kavan

A mix of mockumentary/found footage and traditional horror that never quite finds its footing. It has plenty of trite cliches we've all seen before, some questionable CGI and, sadly, is rather light on the scares. Despite an interesting premise and some decent set pieces (and Keith David - always a welcome addition to any film), it is too banal to really leave a mark.
