Ludicrous but lots of fun with great fights and gruesome kills. True to the spirit of Mortal Kombat. The 'save the world' plot is just an excuse for the extravagant action scenes. But Karl Urban and Josh Lawson provide much needed levity to the absurdity.

The movie is a lot of fun if uneven but adding the likes of Karl Urgban, Adeline Rudolph and Tati Gabrielle to spice up things is at least a step i the right direction. I also have to hand it to Simon McQuoid to making some good death scenes - and bringing others back to life. A solid action film for those who liked the reboot well enough.
