Mesmo lúdico, Erice se mantém implacável em seu rigor formal, subordinando a narrativa a um ritmo lento como o passar das estações. Na memória, o que permanece gravado são os olhos de jabuticaba – lunares, impressionáveis, expressivos – da heroína mirim Torrent ("Cría Cuervos").

A wonderful look at the innocence and naivety associated with childhood that's made with a patient, knowing eye. Final Grade: B+
