It is really weird how the Russo Brothers do not fare well outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as directors.
This is not horrible but it is unoriginal. I admire the energy with the action scenes and its effort to cultivate a sense of fun like '80s or '90s blockbusters. But this is basically I, Robot meets Ready Player One meets The Terminator meets every other robot movie ever.
This film was also super expensive for Netflix. Word is the budget was more than $320 million. Well I do see the money on screen. The robots look pretty good. The CGI is remarkable in some shots.
