A B-movie that punches up - and one that should be a future cult classic. The movie follows a group of special forces during the Vietnam War who go out to locate another missing unit and stumble upon a secret Russian experiment that has unleased dinosaurs in the region. The dinosaur effects are surprisingly effective with some outstanding death scenes. The dialogue and story are clearly sub-par and the biggest stars here are Jeremy Piven, former Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer and Ryan Kwanten. Oh, and also features not one but two CCR songs that scream "Vietnam!" in Fortunate Son and Run Through the Jungle. So overall, just fun, stupid fun.
