A return that should have never happened, which is surprising as Christopher Gans already made a decent adaptation of Silent Hill back in 2006 that, while not spectacular, was still pretty good. This one suffers from trying to keep closer the source material but then having absolute dogshit characterization. Even the cult angle was poorly done. Creature and town design was decent but it can't save this rather unfortunate attempt at bringing Silent Hill back to the big screen.
