Loggers vs. ranchers in this technicolor western. Alan Ladd looks tired but Jeanne Crain and Gilbert Roland help pick up the slack. There’s an interesting environmental theme in the conflict, but it’s kind of handicapped by the townsfolk acting like jerks.
