Can a zombie movie be introspective? Handling the Undead takes a much different approach to the dead rising than any other zombie film I've seen. A child, a long-time companion, a sudden death in a family - three separate stories filled with a lot of emotion and, until the end, little in the way of what we've come to think of from zombies in general. This is one that will make you think - but also still fill you with a bit of dread.
