The film perfectly captures the aesthetic of the late 70s, with many characters based on actual people popular at that time. David Dastmalchian, after playing great supporting roles in the recent years, finally shows he can be a leading man as Late Night host Jack Delroy. While the early film sets the tone - the tension continues to build and that finale is one hell of a ride. It's not too over-the-top so even mild horror fans would be able to enjoy it - and seasoned veterans will be just as impressed.
