Brisk romantic mystery. Van Heflin is decent as a man on the run. Peggy Ann Garner's short if pivotal role is quite good. Ginger Rogers is a lot of fun as a catty snobby actress.

Rogers in an atypical role steals her scenes, but this minute thriller is void of excitement or wit and the rest of the cast has nothing to do. FInal Grade: C
